Daniel Crockett was appointed Director of Student and Educational Services for the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission in 2001. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Director of Student and Educational Services for nine years, Assistant Director for Educational Support with the Talent Identification Program at Duke University for one year, Coordinator of Outreach Services for the West Virginia Board of Regents for sixteen years, Educational Development Specialist for Appalachia Educational Laboratory, Inc. for one year, and Talent Search Counselor for the Board of Regents for two years. Mr. Crockett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Marshall University and a Master of Arts degree from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies (now the Marshall University Graduate College).
